Election & AGM of Wushu Association of India |
| The Election & Annual General Meeting of WAI was held at Hotel Godwin, Haridwar to elect the office bearers for the term 2011-2015. Mr. Bhupender Singh Bajwa was unanimously elected as the President while Mr. Manish Kacker and Mr. Sohail Ahmed were elected as the General Secretary and Treasurer of the WAI. Dr. Yogendra Naraian, the then President, was nominated with the cognizance of the house as Chairman of the Association. |

Long Term Development Plan Meeting |
| The long term development meeting was held at SAI Headquarters New Delhi, the meeting was chaired by Sh. Desh Prakash Verma, IAS, DG, SAI, flanked by top brass of SAI. The General Secretary of WAI Sh. Manish kacker briefed the officials regarding the achievements of WAI since 2006 and the assistances required from SAI in shape of latest Wushu equipments at different SAI Centers. The meeting was very fruitful and various approvals for the proposals were made on spot. The other dignitaries present during the meeting were Dr Yogendra Naraian Chairman WAI, Sh. Bhupender Singh Bajwa President WAI, Sh. Shivendra Nath Dubey Jt. Secretary WAI and Kuldeep Handoo was also present. |

Selection trial of Indian Senior Wushu team for the National Coaching camp at SAI Bhopal |
| The selection trial for the National Wushu coaching camp for seniors were held at SAI Bhopal, approximately 200 participants took part in the selection trial. The selection trial was conducted by Selection committee framed by WAI under the chairmanship of Sh. Bhupender Singh Bajwa. 60 campers were finalized for the first phase of the national Wushu coaching camp at SAI Bhopal. |

Executive Committee Meeting- WA I |
| The executive committee meeting of the WAI was organized at Godwin Public School, Meerut, SH. Bhupendra Singh Bajwa, President WAI chaired the meeting and various important matters regarding the development of Wushu were discussed and finalized. Dr. Yogendra Naraian the Chairman of the WAI were also present during the meeting, He appreciated the work done by the newly formed body of the WAI. |

| The executive committee meeting of the WAI was organized at Godwin Public School, Meerut on 17th July 11 under the Chairmanship of Dr Yogendra Narain. Sri Bhupendra Singh Bajwa , President WAI and members of the executive committee were present during the meeting. Different matters regarding promotion and development of wushu in India were discussed and finalized during this meeting. |

| 2nd phase of the National Wushu coaching camp was held at famous hill station Gulmarg, Kashmir (J&K). 22 days High altitude camp was very effective and result oriented which created history In Wushu India earning 5th Place in the World Wushu Championship at Turkey. |

6th Asian Junior Wushu Championship - Sanghai - China |
| A 27 member’s Indian Wushu team (including 2 tech officials, 1 manager, 4 coaches) participated in 6th Asian Junior Wushu Championship to be held at Sanghai – China from 17th to 21st of Aug 2011 at Miyang Gymnasium. The performance of the Indian Wushu team was outstanding, the Indian team won one silver and 4 Bronze medals during the Championship. |

| 10th Junior National Wushu Championship was organized at Thakur Vishvanath Sahdeo Indoor Stadium, Mega sports Complex, Ranchi from 4th to 8th Feb 2012 by Jharkhand Wushu Association.
The championship was inaugurated by Sri C P Singh, Speaker, Jharkhand assembly while as Sh. Sahdeo Mahato, Deputy Chief Minister, Jharkhand was Chief Guest on Valedictory function.
In this Championship approx 700 players and officials from different 35 units of WAI participated. |
